Gallery Attendant Positions Available

FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art is a summer-long exhibition of contemporary art comprised of artist commissions, performances, films, and public programs throughout the region.  FRONT is seeking Gallery Attendants with an interest in the arts and community engagement at the sites below.

Position: Gallery Attendant, Hourly

Salary:    $9.00 per hour

Dates: FRONT Exhibition Period:  July 12, 2018 – September 30, 2018

• St. John’s Episcopal Church, Cleveland

Site Hours:   Wednesday – Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

• FRONT Porch/Glenville Sites, Cleveland

Site Hours:  Wednesday – Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

• The Arcade, Cleveland

Site Hours:  Wednesday – Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Address:  401 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114

• Vista Color Building, Cleveland

Site Hours:  Wednesday – Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Open and close the building/gallery (depending on shift)
• Monitor and ensure the safety of the artwork and enforce site policies

• Become knowledgeable on the exhibition and related programming
• Collaborate with FRONT volunteers at site

Preferred Experience and Background Skills:

• Interest in contemporary art and community engagement
• Prior experience as a gallery attendant preferred, but not required
