A Conversation about Community and Food
September 16, 2018
1:00 pm
2:00 pm

With a mash of ethnicities and traditions, Cleveland has something for everyone, including food. FRONT International artist John Riepenhoff interprets An American City through the tradition of sausage in his Cleveland Curry Kojiwurst. The project takes on the rich diversity of the city, blending flavors of its culinary past with new ones brought by recent immigrants.

Join Riepenhoff as he continues his exploration of Cleveland’s innovative culture of growing, harvesting, preparing, and serving food. From the farm, sowing seeds new to the region, to fusion menus brought to restaurants, Riepenhoff will chat with farmers, chefs, and butchers about what they do and how the way the community feeds itself inspires their work.

Feel free to purchase a Kojiwurst or an apple before you grab a seat at stall #77/79
