Lunch on Fridays: Anne Wilson: Objects, Fields, and Performances

Anne Wilson is a Chicago-based visual artist who creates sculpture, drawings, performances and videos that explore themes of time, loss, and private and social rituals. A 2015 United States Artists Distinguished Fellow, Wilson’s artwork resides in permanent collections around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; The Art Institute of Chicago; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Detroit Institute of Arts; Des Moines Art Center; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, England; and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. She is represented by Rhona Hoffman Gallery and is a professor in the department of fiber and material studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided on a first-come, first served basis.
