Darius Steward is a visual artist and educator currently living in Cleveland, Ohio. Steward graduated from the University of Delaware with a Master of Fine Arts in 2010 and completed his undergraduate degree at the Cleveland Institute of Art with concentrations in drawing and painting. Since graduating from the University of Delaware, Steward has exhibited artwork at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland, Tregoning & Co., Zygote Press, William Busta Gallery, FORUM Artspace, Kent State University, the University of Delaware, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, The Presidents Council of Cleveland, and the Cleveland Clinic. Steward has also completed murals with the Inter-Urban Art Project and Midtown Cleveland. He has recently been featured in articles in Canvas Cleveland, Cleveland Scene Magazine, and Hyperallergic. In 2016, Steward was a recipient of the Creative Workforce Fellowship. Presently, Steward teaches at Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
