A unique opportunity to learn about the FRONT Triennial, An American City, launching Summer 2018 throughout the city of Cleveland.

FRONT is conceived as an alternative to the commercial art fairs popular in the U.S. market and is dedicated to rethinking the conventional Biennial or Triennial exhibition model. UCCA Director Philip Tinari and FRONT Co-Artistic Director Jens Hoffmann will discuss the present and future role of Biennials and Triennials around the world and in the United States. Opening remarks by Michelle Shan-Jeschelnig, Vice Chair, of FRONT and Fred Bidwell, CEO and Founder, with Chinese interpretation available upon request. The presentation will be followed by a cocktail reception and a guided tour of The New Normal: Art and China in 2017.
