FRONT Film Program Screenings: Artist introductions by Jennifer Reeder and Kelley O’Brien

Front’s Film Program, established in a temporary black box theater inside the Crane Gallery of the Transformer Station, provides an ideal setting for presenting film and video being produced by artists and filmmakers today. The program of scheduled feature length films, video, and film shorts was selected to amplify the theme of the first triennial--An American City–uniting artists and issues across the many venues of Front, and will highlight the intersection of art and cinema, documentary features, lyrical epics and animations.

Screenings:

11:00 AM: The Worldly Cave; Blue & Red, Zhou Tao

1:00 PM: World premiere of I dream you dream of me, U.S. premiere of All Small Bodies; introduced by Jennifer Reeder and Laura Heberton

1:40 PM: World premiere of Liberty is the freedom to do exactly what you’ve been doing, introduced by Kelley O’Brien

2:00 PM: Phantasiesätze, Dane Komljen; South Stone, Zhou Tao

3:00 PM: The Pink Egg, Jim Trainor

4:30 PM: Isolated Above, Connected Down, Liu Shiyuan
